California Loving!

A couple of my friends came over to my house to get our tan on! Since it was so nice out here in San Diego

I have a pool right outside of my apt! Thank the lord cause it was super hot out! and perfect weather for tanning and a little dip in the pool! I have never really been a swimmer and my son is the same way we dip our feet in and cool off but we rather be on the outside tanning and reading a book or playing a video game! I  wanna get my nice carmely tan! Hopefully I can get like that before hubby gets back from training!

He yelled at me to take a picture of him and this is the pose he did! he loves to be silly and loves to make funny faces! Its a rare time when you get him to to take a good picture! I have done it a couple of times!

Knife Block!

So my kitchen is red, black and white! All my favorite colors:) I have more black and white items than red so I decided that I would try to fix that problem so I painted my knife block a lovely red!

This is how it looked before! I do most of my projects out side! Better light outside in the sun!:) But look how BLAH it is! Such a plain color!

Here is how it looked while drying! Super Red!!! And I love it! I had to put like 3 layers cause kept touching it! :)

There it is in my kitchen! looking nice and lovely!

Missing My Husband!

So my husband has been gone for almost 2 weeks now:( And I miss him so much! but i have been keeping my self and my son busy! going to the park and we went to a Easter event on base with some friends it was super fun! Here are some pictures to show ya!

He LOVES to go on slides! usually he is climbing up the opposite way than goes down but i didn't catch him in the act this time. he is always making friends or should I say people are always making friends with him and he just keeps playing!

I thought he would be scared of the giant mountain slide but boy was I wrong! He went up the slide like a champ and wanted to go again but the line was a ten minute wait:/
 

 Well this was in the car but still we had just arrived to the event! But I love taking pictures like this. I try to do this every time we are in the car! I take at least 58 pictures of me and my son every day, trying not to miss any thing in his life!

Nine months ago he would have screamed at the top of his lungs scared out of his mind! But this day he begged and begged to take a picture with him! So I let him, I was one happy mom when that happened that mean we can go to Disney Land and he will take pictures with all of the people in suits!! Yay!!!  :))

Being A Military Wife!

BLAH!!! So my husband left for 6 weeks to Arizona for training! even though I get to talk to him all the time I still hate that he is not physically here! But I guess what do you do when your a military wife! :/So I have all these plans to reorganize my house and clean and just make my house new! Maybe I will get back on my blog and try do more crafts and share them with yall! My Goal is to get more followers!

Husbands Birthday!

Couple of weekends ago we had my husbands birthday party at Dave and Busters! It was a blast and especially since our hometown friend was able to make it! He is also a Marine and is station at Camp Pendelton! Here are some Pics!..

So I've been gone a long time! Sorry! Ive been busy with my husband he is leaving for a month and a half so been preparing for that and been making new friends and hanging out with them! oh and i cant forget my husbands birthday party!!! Ill post some pics of what I been up to!

My Husband 1st Tatoo

My husband finally got his tattoo he has been wanting for like ever now! So we finally did it! We went to Propaganda Tattoo in Point Loma here in San Diego. It a awesome shop and the guys that work there are amazing and so fun. Really recommend them for any tattoo you want!
As you can see below is what the artist drew up for my husband! It turned out a whole lot nicer than what we thought!

Well he made it into a stencil and said we might have to shrink it down. Than my husband stood up and took his shirt off and the guy was like oh never mind!:) It was a little to small but the artist fixed that problem. Than the process began!

Two hours later! We were almost half way there!

Than another two hours later the outline was done:) Finally!!

Than two weeks later after it was healed! we went back this past Saturday and got it finished with the shading which took FOREVER!!! My butt fell asleep multiple times:/

The picture is bad I think him and his body were both in shock!

All Finished! It was a gruesome process! Makes me seriously re-think getting one! Took forever and he was in a lot of pain I can only imagine how my wimpy self would be! I would be crying! But he loves it and it came out great! After its all healed it will be super sexy on my Marine<3 :)

My Obsession with Make-Up

I have this obsession with makeup! thankfully my husband loves me enough and took me to Sephora with a limit of course! I'm trying to start school to become a professional Make-up Artist. So I can have a job that i love and also play with make up. Here take a look at my Make-up bag i got for my birthday from my hubby<3

 I'm trying to build it up! but this will do for now!

I have tried so many foundations and cover ups and let me tell you I usually buy the wrong color. This last time I got matched up and lo and behold I had bought the right one:)) I have tried all the liquid foundation and realized that i don't like the way it feels on my face. So i started going for the powder! Well I found out that I love the powder. Than my mom took me to Sephora and i was sold! I have not used anything other!

 The one on the right is their Mattifying Foundation! I usually put it on over my cheapy 3 dollar liquid if I'm gonna be out all day because its long lasting and reduces shines. But if its gonna be a lazy day i just put the powder and than the mineral one over the one on the left!

My second Favorite thing from Sephora is there Mascara usually I use the Lancome  HYPNOSE Drama! But I recently bought their Outrageous Volume Mascara and once again I'M SOLD!! I use to different kind i use the Sephora plus Maybelline Turbo Volume Express. Cause I like long dark eyelashes!

But look what I recently purchased:))

Isn't it lovely purple is my favorite color (duh my name is violet) but my eyelashes don't curl so I'm sold once again!

If you love shimmer or looking sparkly I suggest Smashbox Soft Lights! For shimmer or to highlight your face! I recently bought it and LOVE it!!

California Love

I absolutely love living in California! Even on the cold, rainy days!  I went to Ocean beach this last Friday with my friend and really enjoyed it not only did they have awesome shops,  but they have a very long pier where you can fish and it has a cute little cafe you can eat it! its very relaxing! On the boardwalk they have a memorial for fallen service men! Which I enjoyed looking and reading all about them! The shops are cute, they have lots of antique shops, and tattoo parlors and of course Mexican food. YUM:)  Ill post some pics so you can see the nice waves!

My First Pinterest Project!

If you haven't heard about Pinterest you are defiantly missing out on some awesome DIY projects!
My son is a huge Angry Birds Fan! So I found this on Pinterest and decided to do it!

The ladies on Pinterest was so much better! But this is my version.

Of course ya gotta save up all your old cans. and wash them and let them dry!
Than start painting I used the Martha Stewart Crafts Paints. Just like the lady said to!:)
I used the Green and Painted them first. Let them sit and dry.

I printed of a picture of the pigs from the Internet, I had to shrink mine down to like 125%

Than I traced it with a permanent marker!

Well and as you see i went a head and painted the mouth red!
Than I mixed the green and white to make the nose a shade lighter and went ahead and painted the eyes!

Than I painted all the black on like the eyes, eyebrows, and the nostrils!

The lady has a tutorial how to paint the Angry Bird ball its self! But my son has Angry Birds bean bags so I let him just used those!
